Storage conditions

It shall be stored in a sealed, cool, dry and well-ventilated environment, with the storage temperature not exceeding 30℃. It should be kept away from heat sources and fire sources, and should not be stored together with strong acids, strong alkalis and moisture-absorbing substances, so as to prevent decomposition caused by moisture absorption and heating. Moisture-proof and volatilization-proof measures should also be taken in the storage area.

2. Physical Properties

Ammonium Hydrogen Sulfate is a white crystalline powder or columnar crystal with a slight ammonia odor.

Its density is about 1.58g/cm³, and its melting point is about 107.5℃, with decomposition starting before reaching the melting point.

It is easily soluble in water, and its solubility in water increases with the rise of temperature, with a solubility of about 21g/100mL water at 20℃. It is insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone.

This substance is hygroscopic; when exposed to air, it tends to absorb moisture and deliquesce, while slowly decomposing to release ammonia gas.

3. Main Applications

● The agricultural sector is the primary application area of Ammonium Hydrogen Sulfate.

As a quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer, it can directly supply nitrogen to crops, promoting the growth of crop stems and leaves. It is suitable for various crops such as rice, wheat, corn and vegetables, and is particularly applicable for application in paddy fields and acidic soils.

● In the industrial field, Ammonium Hydrogen Sulfate can be used to produce chemical products like potassium carbonate and ammonium chloride.

It can also serve as a foaming agent in the manufacturing of rubber and plastics, and act as a tanning auxiliary in the leather industry.

● In the food industry, it functions as a food additive (leavening agent) in the production of flour products such as biscuits, pastries and steamed buns.

During heating, it decomposes to generate gas, which makes the flour products form a loose and porous structure, improving the taste.

● In addition, Ammonium Hydrogen Sulfate can be applied in fields including medicine, printing and dyeing, and environmental protection.

For example, it is used to adjust pH value in sewage treatment.

4. Packaging Specifications

Note: According to customer needs, we also provide other packaging methods, such as ton bags, full plastic bags, kraft paper bags, and drums. Different packaging options correspond to different costs.

5. Core Advantages

● First is the cost advantage.

Its production process is simple, raw materials are easily accessible, and the price is low. Compared with nitrogen fertilizers such as urea and ammonium nitrate, it has obvious cost-performance advantages, making it suitable for large-scale agricultural application.

● Second is the fertilizer efficiency advantage.

As a quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer, it can be quickly absorbed and utilized by crops after being applied to the soil, yielding rapid results. Moreover, the carbon dioxide produced after decomposition can be utilized by crop photosynthesis, which helps to improve crop yield.

● Third is the environmental friendliness advantage.

The decomposition products of Ammonium Hydrogen Sulfate are ammonia, carbon dioxide and water, without any residual harmful substances. It will not cause pollution to soil and water bodies, and has a smaller negative impact on the environment compared with other nitrogen fertilizers.

● In addition, in the industrial and food fields, Ammonium Hydrogen Sulfate leaves no residue after decomposition, which will not affect product quality.

It is also easy to use and has a wide range of applications.
